Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport has become the 35th airport in the country to record annual passenger throughput of more than 10 million.

The 10-millionth passenger was bestowed with one-year VIP status on Nov 20 while a randomly selected passenger received free air tickets.

The 27 airlines that currently operate 200 daily flights to 60 domestic destinations from Zhuhai Airport constitute a high-density and wide-coverage airline network.

Golden routes are: Zhuhai-Beijing, nine to 10 flights daily, and Zhuhai-Shanghai, 13-14 flights every day. Destinations with four flights daily account for 28 percent of the total whereas the number of cities with three or more flights per day reaches 25, for instance, Harbin, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, and Jinan make up most of the balance.

Zunyi of Guizhou, Wanzhou of Chongqing, Dazhou of Sichuan, Tengchong of Yunnan, and other tourist cities ideal for family getaways are also covered.
