Thousands are enjoying world circus acts in Hengqin
Popularity of the ongoing 5th China International Circus Festival in Zhuhai was confirmed on Nov 17 and 18 as each show attracted 3,000 spectators.
Twenty-five circus acts from 20 countries are taking place at Chimelong Hengqin International Circus City. They are divided into two shows, each taking turns thrilling and teasing spectators through Thursday, Nov 22.
Show A gives a heavier aesthetic feeling by including diabolo (Chinese yo-yo), flying trapeze, and aerial performances with rising silk ropes while Show B presents mostly muscular glamour through highly difficult handstand skills.

Other world-class acrobats are performing magic, clown shows, and freestyle basketball.
Some of the top performances will continue after the festival ends, as selected acts will tour the city from Nov 24 to Dec 1. They can also be caught in Hong Kong and Macao.
The annual circus carnival began on Nov 16, extending its popularity in Zhuhai from its first success in 2013.
