Emergency response chain prepared for Airshow China
Eight rescue routes, 33 medical institutions, and numerous first-response personnel have been consolidated into a contingency network in case of emergency at the 12th China International Aerospace & Aviation Exhibition.
The largest-of-its-kind State-level air show takes place at the Zhuhai Airshow Center opposite the Haicheng Village, Jinwan District from Tuesday through Sunday, Nov 6 to 11.
For safety, intra-field emergency command and coordination are integrated with intelligent big data analysis for the first time. Nearby, the Jinwan District Airshow Emergency Command Headquarters will use a visualized command system to conduct dynamic management and control of Haicheng Village across the street. The village is newly equipped with 151 access control systems and a dozen facial recognition devices.

Public security authorities have earmarked the eight rescue routes centered on Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport and surrounding roads.
Meanwhile, health-and-family planning authorities have coordinated 16 hospitals and 17 township or community health centers for emergency medical support. Any injured persons will be sent to nearby Guangdong General Hospital Zhuhai and the 5th Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University. Meanwhile, Zhuhai People's Hospital and the 5th Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University will be on standby as second-tiered medical facilities.
In addition to regular staff, a 50-member squad comprising emergency management personnel and volunteers will arrive on scene within five minutes of being notified of any emergency.
Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation to ensure smooth traffic flow. Seven parking lots capable of holding 20,000 vehicles have been set up near the Beijing-Zhuhai, Guangdong West Coast, and Airport expressways.
