Bus stop being added at HZM Bridge boundary crossing
Passengers heading for Zhuhai Boundary Crossing Facilities of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will be served by five bus routes and eight express lines, according to the city Transport Bureau.
Current Buses 3, 12, 23, 25, and L1 in Xiangzhou Central Urban Area, Nanping Town, and Jintang area in Tangjiawan will have an additional stop at the boundary crossing facilities hub. Ticket prices will remain unchanged.
Shuttle buses
Meanwhile, eight express lines will open to connect the bridge with Gongbei Checkpoint, Nanping, Hengqin New Area, Zhuhai Sports Center, Shangchong, Yu Wen Quan Imperial Hot Springs Resort, Beijing Normal University Zhuhai, Xiangzhou Bus Terminal, and Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport. Most tickets will cost less than 10 yuan ($1.45).
The Guangdong provincial government has meanwhile set tolls for cross-border private vehicles and taxis at 150 yuan ($21.68) per trip. Coaches, shuttle buses, general wagons, and container trucks will pay 200 yuan ($28.90), 300 yuan ($43.36), 60 yuan ($8.67), and 115 yuan ($16.62) respectively.
Toll station
Fees can be paid via the mainland and Hong Kong Auto toll's Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) systems, Alipay, and WeChat Pay. Renminbi will be used for settlement, with the Hong Kong dollar and Macao pataca converted based on the real-time exchange rate versus yuan, said Yu Lie, deputy director of the bridge Management Bureau.
