Guangdong efforts vital to building maritime routes
The 2nd 21st Century Maritime Silk Road China (Guangdong) International Communication Forum brings to the spotlights Guangdong Province's Reform & Opening Up achievements over the past four decades.
The event also showcases Guangdong's positive results in constituting new Opening-Up patterns via forums, sub-forums, enterprise achievement exhibitions, field trips, and cultural performances.
More than 20 Guangdong-based representative enterprises are displaying achievements in terms of publication, intelligent manufacturing, cultural innovation, intangible cultural heritage products, and photography.
Intelligent Manufacturing Display Area
At the Guangdong Intelligent Manufacturing Display Area, Gree-made orchestra-member Robots GR606, GRS401m and GRS405 are playing an electronic organ, drum kit, and other musical instruments.
In the meantime, a red unmanned surface vessel (USV) developed by Yunzhou-Tech, the leading and largest USV company in the world, took center stage at its booth. The star product is the M80 ocean surveying unmanned submarine released in April 2016. It is well-applied in oceanographic surveys, marine surveying and mapping, reconnaissance, and security patrols.
At the Cultural Innovation Display Area, Zhuhai 4D Age Tech is exhibiting high-precision 3D digital scanning technology and other groundbreaking products.
Also on display is Zhuhai Daily iPaper app and other multimedia products under the Zhuhai Daily Media Group, the major media under the municipal CPC committee and government.
The 2018 Action Report on Chinese (Guangdong) Companies Going Global Along the Belt & Road was issued during the forum. It highlights Guangdong enterprise' latest progresses under the Belt & Road Initiative, and suggests ways to be further engaged.
The forum is hosted by China Media Group and the People's Government of Guangdong. It is locally organized by the Information Office of the People's Government of Guangdong and Zhuhai Municipal People's Government.
