Alliance formed to 'look into' disease and treatment

Updated: 2018-08-17

A Greater Bay Area health alliance opened in Zhuhai on Aug 12 to advance medical imaging in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao through academic exchanges and scientific research. Medical imaging exposes internal structures hidden by the skin and bones and facilitates the identification and treatment of disease.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Medical Imaging Alliance was initiated by Shan Hong, president of the 5th Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University, who is its first chairman.
