The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University is located near Lovers Avenue at Xiangzhou Bay. Surrounded by mountains and sea, the hospital has a peaceful environment and beautiful landscape. 

Established in December 2002 on the basis of the original Zhuhai Health Center, the hospital covers a gross area of 220,000 sq m with a floorage of 140,000 sq m. The European architecture includes an out-patient building, clinic building, medical technology building and tumor treatment center. The hospital has invested over 200 million yuan ($29.44 million) in advanced modern medical facilities, such as DSA, 16SCT, MRI, ECT, hyperbaric oxygen chamber and full-functional ICU.
