British boys to touch hearts with musical versatility

Trinity Boys Choir, among the busiest and most successful in the world, intends to touch people's hearts with a 110-minute mixture of genres and styles at the Zhuhai Huafa & CPAA Grand Theatre on July 27.

The choir will be in China for a ten-concert tour, starting in Guangzhou and finishing in Beijing. It has had a high professional profile and enormous popularity at home and abroad for almost 50 years. The boys are best known for renditions of Another Country (1984), Lord of the Flies (1990), and Goodbye Christopher Robin (2017).

Trinity Boys Choir

They have appeared on such prestigious English stages as Glyndebourne, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, English National Opera and various other houses abroad. They frequently participate in renowned festivals and international projects. The boys are especially well known for their contribution to Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, which they have presented in over 150 professional performances, and they feature as well in both the Warner DVD and on the Virgin Classics CD of the opera.
