Fluid Ukraine juggler physically magical
Master juggler Viktor (Kiktev) Kee from Ukraine will fuse juggling, contortion, acrobatics, and dance at the 3rd China International Circus Festival from Nov 18 to 26.
Kee will perform Ambition, an act that won the Paris Circus Festival Silver Award in 1994 and Golden Clown Award from the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo in 2003.
The juggler has allegedly turned the circus scene inside out with game-changing onstage antics and revolutionary routines.
“I had not known the circus could be performed this way until I saw his performance,” said the festival’s art director, Li Chi, who is also general manager of Chimelong Group.

“Yes, I changed the approach to the way the circus is played,” claimed Kee, saying less is more, and the performance is to integrate every necessary music piece, every necessary costume, and every necessary action to achieve the power to reach people’s hearts, he elaborated.
The highlight is four-limbed juggling, which has “blown the socks” off audiences so far. Kee moves his body with the grace and elegance of a ballet dancer. The lithe artiste poetically contorts his supple form as a myriad of orbs fly around him, as though drawn to his personal gravity.
The festival at Hengqin Theater has attracted more than 200 performers from 28 premier acrobatic teams of 21 countries, including China, Russia, Australia, Germany, the US, Italy, Canada and the Netherlands. Their performances include extreme sports, mid-air and stage acrobatics, stunts, clown shows, and large-scale magic extravaganzas.
