Circus lures with early bird ticket sales
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom will offer a limited number of discount tickets on its website, WeChat, Tmall, and APP with 40 percent off on Nov 11, 30 percent on Nov 12-13, and 20 percent on Nov 14-15 for the Nov 12 to Dec 4 circus carnival month.
During the period, carnivals and circus parades will perform at the Chimelong. Magicians, clowns, and trick riders will interact with visitors at Chimelong’s Hengqin Bay Hotel, Penguin Hotel and Circus Hotel to generate enthusiasm.
Lion taming
The 3rd China International Circus Festival officially opens on Nov 18. After two successful trials in 2013 and 2015, this year’s event has attracted more than 200 world-leading circus elites from over 20 countries, promising new records in scale and technical difficulty.
Twenty-eight premier acts from home and abroad have confirmed participation, including those from Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus, Germany, France, Canada, the US, Mongolia, Belgium, Spain, Cuba, and Russia. They have already won numerous accolades including the prestigious Monte Carlo International Circus Festival Award.
Circus performance
Performers will build excitement with extreme sports, mid-air and stage acrobatics, stunt performances, funny clowns show, and large-scale magic tricks to attract global attention.
The festival, which lasts through Nov 26, will stage two shows each on Nov 19 and 20, and then one show daily from Nov 21 to 23. The next two days are slated for competitions, with two matches a day.
