The Baojing Bay Rock Carvings are a national key cultural relic protection unit with a history going back over 4,000 years. Patterns of snakes, birds, ships, people, and a lot of perplexing shapes are carved on giant granite in rough lines and primitive styles. Stone fishing gear and other antiquities have been unearthed.
