From Nov 22 to 24, the Yangzhou delegation participated in the China International Travel Mart 2024 held at Shanghai's National Exhibition and Convention Center, showcasing Yangzhou's abundant tourism offerings and unique cultural charms.

During the event, a promotional conference hosted by the Yangzhou tourism bureau highlighted Yangzhou's rich history, culinary culture and breathtaking landscapes, providing a comprehensive overview of the city's tourism offerings.

Accompanied by the conference, audiences were treated to a series of mesmerizing cultural performances, such as Yangzhou puppet shows and the Yangzhou Ditty, a type of folk music popular during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).

In addition to the performances, an impressive array of cultural and creative products were also displayed. These products included Yangzhou lacquerware, Yangzhou velvet flowers, Gaoyou specialties like double yolk duck eggs, and innovative stuffed toys that resemble Yangzhou breakfast foods.
Seizing the opportunity, Yangzhou has enhanced its global profile as a City of World Canals, an UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, and a Culture City of East Asia, inviting travelers from home and abroad to "Find China in Yangzhou".
One visitor from Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, was impressed by Yangzhou's spectacular landscapes showcased at the event. "I see Yangzhou as a place of beauty throughout the year. This winter, I plan to visit with my family," he remarked in excitement.
