For a long time, metalworking fluids, industrial cleaning agents, and rust prevention oils, widely used in steel, metallurgy, machinery manufacturing and aerospace metal processing, have primarily relied on imported products. These come at a high cost, with equally significant maintenance expenses.

Tianjin Yingtelun Technology has seized the opportunity to enhance and scale up alternative products.

By focusing on product research and development, the company has steadily improved performance, extended product lifespan and elevated environmental standards. It has elevated domestic metal processing additives from entry-level to high-end. The products launched not only match the quality and effectiveness of top international brands but also enable corporate clients to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

"The total market share for lubrication, cleaning and rust prevention is approximately 200 billion yuan ($27.62 billion)," said Chen Guofu, chairman of Tianjin Intelen Technology.

"What was once dominated by imports is now shifting to domestic products. Currently, we achieve annual revenue of 70 to 80 million yuan. Our company mainly produces high-end lubricants and industrial cleaning agents, and our products have essentially replaced top international brands. They reduce costs by about 30 percent, with some products even outperforming imported ones in terms of performance.”

Behind the success of domestic products replacing imports and outperforming them in performance lies the company's long-standing commitment to innovation and research. The company invests 30 percent of its annual profits in research and development. Last year, the company secured 18 patents, while this year it filed applications for another 6 patents.

The company's products are widely used in China's aerospace, aviation, maritime and automotive manufacturing industries, providing product services to more than 40 leading domestic enterprises.
