Students from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts immersed themselves in plein air sketching along the banks of the Haihe River, crafting portraits for locals and tourists alike. They also captured urban landscapes, adding an artistic flair to Tianjin's mother river. 

Renato Pegoraro, an Italian restaurant owner with over a decade of experience in Tianjin's Italian-style district, received a portrait by the students. He praised their talent and the warmth of local people.
