Within five years, the college compiled and published 139 "three-dimensional" professional textbooks (13 national-level planned textbooks) which are applied in more than 270 higher vocational colleges in 21 provinces and autonomous regions. Besides, it has successfully organized eight skills competitions involving national vocational colleges.

More than 100 of its students have won the National Competition of Vocational Skills, 101 students acquired international and national awards, and the college ranked first in Tianjin for two consecutive years through the competition evaluation of the China Association of Higher Education. In terms of employment, it integrates employment management into the whole process of education and teaching and maintains an employment rate above 97 percent. More than 80% of the students were employed in large state-owned enterprises such as Neusoft, Haier, Airbus, AVIC and CMC Magnetics, and the salary level of graduates after three years of work is the highest in Tianjin among comparable schools. The college ranked second (98.19 scores) in China regarding college students' competitiveness in the workplace according to the Guangzhou Daily (GDI) in 2017.
