Jungheinrich China celebrated its 20th anniversary with a grand event on Nov 14 in the Minhang area of the Hongqiao International Central Business District, also known as South Hongqiao.
More than 50 representatives from Jungheinrich's Asia-Pacific and China management teams attended the celebration, along with employees and various partners.
Founded in 1953 in Hamburg, Germany, Jungheinrich is a global leader in material handling equipment, warehousing, and logistics engineering. The company entered the Chinese market in 1997, establishing Jungheinrich (Shanghai) Management Co Ltd in South Hongqiao, contributing significantly to the region's development.
Bai Daping, managing director of Jungheinrich China, highlighted the company's evolution from a forklift importer to a manufacturer and service provider known for innovation and internal logistics solutions. He emphasized Jungheinrich China's commitment to the strategy of "In China, For Global".
South Hongqiao is actively exploring innovative models of service industry empowering manufacturing. It continues to attract high-end manufacturing enterprises like Jungheinrich.
As of October, the area had brought in over 26,000 enterprises, forming a robust ecosystem of headquarters economy, high-end business, modern services, and technological innovation industries.
