The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in the Hongqiao International Central Business District from Nov 5 to 11.
Preparations for the expo's Country Exhibition are ongoing, with participating countries and international organizations preparing their exhibits and exhibition hall designs.
So far, more than 70 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation in this year's big event, surpassing the previous edition. Nations like Norway, Slovakia, Benin, Burundi, and Madagascar, as well as the organization of United Nations Children's Fund, will be making their debuts.
This year, the Country Exhibition will integrate the themes of diplomatic relations, cultural tourism, and humanistic exchanges to showcase the achievements of bilateral cooperation. Various countries and international organizations are planning to host a diverse range of bilateral activities during the exhibition period, highlighting the fruitful results of their cooperation with China.
For instance, the French pavilion will focus on the 60th anniversary of France-China diplomatic relations, bringing together top French industry enterprises to display the rich outcomes of friendly exchanges between the two nations. Meanwhile, the Laotian pavilion will center around the China-Laos Railway, demonstrating how Laotian specialties enter the Chinese market through the railway, injecting new vitality into the economic development of the region along the railway line.
This year, the Chinese pavilion will focus on the comprehensive deepening of reforms and the achievements that China has made since its founding 75 years ago.
