Huang Junhao, a top coffee blogger on lifestyle platform Xiaohongshu, has uncovered a goldmine in the Hongqiao International Coffee Harbor. Since starting his career as a live-streamer, Huang has been exploring a plethora of coffee products from around the globe.
Located in the Hongqiao International Central Business District, the Coffee Harbor hosts 58 coffee-related enterprises, including many from Silk Road E-commerce partner countries such as Ethiopia, Singapore, and Italy. The district offers preferential tariffs and convenient logistics, making it a prime location for coffee trade.
As a top influencer, Huang is meticulous when it comes to selecting quality coffee products to present to his audience. For his live-stream on Aug 11, he had prepared 50 varieties of coffee beans, 20 of which are from Silk Road partner countries, including 10 from Ethiopia alone.
"Ethiopian coffee beans are always a top seller due to their distinct flavors and high cost-performance ratio," Huang explained. His live-streams not only showcase products but also educate viewers about the origins and unique attributes of each coffee bean, effectively bridging the gap between consumers and coffee producers.
