The Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District (CBD) hosted a government-bank-enterprise matchmaking conference on July 11, focused on building productive internet service platforms.
Productive internet service platforms are enterprises that provide supporting services for the production and circulation of commodities. They use the internet as the primary carrier, data as a key production factor, and new-generation information technology as a core driving force.
Supported by various municipal departments, the event aimed to enhance financial services for the real economy and promote the high-quality development of productive internet service platforms. Over 130 participants, including government officials, bank representatives, and business leaders, attended the event.
Key presentations included Shanghai Data Bureau's insights on blockchain networks and digital economy benefits, as well as Q&A session with the municipal financial office.
Banks shared their financial solutions. China Construction Bank (Shanghai Branch) introduced the "Hongqiao International Coffee Hub" online platform, while Shanghai Pudong Development Bank demonstrated its efforts to help companies digitize their information flow, fund flow, logistics, and data flow. Shanghai Bank (Puxi Branch) highlighted its financial services for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Liando Group, one of the participating companies, praised the event for enhancing their understanding of government policies and providing precise financial service connections, hoping for more such initiatives.
Organizers stated that this conference is part of efforts to implement measures supporting the CBD's development as a hub for productive internet service platforms. The district has attracted 10 new entities in the first half of the year, covering sectors like digital construction and smart logistics.
Future plans include further government-bank-enterprise matchmaking events, the establishment of special funds for productive internet service platforms, and the promotion of digital transformation in existing industrial and supply chains.
