The Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism recently announced the inclusion of the Panlong Tiandi as part of the third batch of city-level tourism and leisure blocks.
Situated in the Qingpu area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, Panlong Tiandi integrates commercial spaces, residences, hotels, and green spaces, embodying a modern urban vacation destination.
With a focus on open-air commercial areas akin to Xintiandi, the block offers 53,000 square meters of commercial space, 230,000 square meters of public green areas, a 3-kilometer circular walking path, and nearly 10,000 square meters of outdoor recreation space.
The block revitalizes the ancient town of Panlong with the creation of "New 10 Scenes of Panlong", featuring winding waterside residences, bridges, and corridors. Through partnerships with institutions such as the Yu Deyao Art Museum and Blue Bottle Coffee, the block offers a lifestyle that seamlessly merges culture and nature, providing visitors with an immersive urban experience that celebrates Shanghai's rich heritage while embracing modernity.
