The "Silk Road E-commerce" enterprise development initiative, created by Shanghai's Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub, has been rapidly growing since its launch in early January.

The hub serves as a permanent trading service platform for the China International Import Expo (CIIE), and the initiative was launched to pave the way for more Chinese enterprises and products to expand overseas through country-specific livestreaming platforms, overseas showrooms, and participation in key exhibitions. By leveraging the CIIE's resources, the initiative aims to develop the Silk Road E-commerce industrial chain and foster high-quality cooperation with overseas clients.

The first phase has seen swift progress with Chinese products such as medical equipment, electromechanical devices, and consumer goods securing export contracts, signaling a promising future for Chinese enterprises that are venturing abroad.

On July 1, Greenland Medical Industry Group was inaugurated by the Greenland Group in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, aiming to serve as a one-stop overseas service platform for domestic medical enterprises. Its initial efforts are directed towards exporting medical imaging equipment to the Central Asian market, particularly Kazakhstan.

Wang Chen, vice general manager of Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub, revealed the company's plan to establish Chinese medical equipment innovation and after-sales centers in Kazakhstan to introduce top-tier Chinese medical products to Central Asia.

Since the launch of the "Silk Road E-commerce" enterprise development initiative, projects like the "Chinese Commodity Exhibition Hall" in Nepal, overseas warehouses in Syria, and the export of new energy vehicles, components, and photovoltaic products to Pakistan are all progressing rapidly. This underscores the initiative's accelerated push towards global trade expansion.
