The Lanke Hongqiao Center, a cutting-edge facility that cost 180 million yuan ($25.11 million) to build, was officially opened recently.
Located in the Hongqiao Xinhui Headquarters Bay Park, the center was developed by Shanghai Lanke Environmental Technology Co Ltd, a high-tech engineering company.
Lanke has a Grade A specialty in chemical engineering design and a Grade B specialty in environmental engineering design (water pollution prevention and control projects), and provides services including technological development, planning consultation, project proposal, feasibility study, engineering design, procurement, project management, EPC, and operation management.
Spanning 17,279.9 square meters, the Lanke Hongqiao Center functions as a comprehensive research and development (R&D) headquarters, and houses a R&D center, a digital design center, multi-functional conference rooms, and leisure and entertainment spaces.
Chen Min, director of the enterprise's operations department, expressed excitement about the opening of the new facility, noting that the Shanghai Lanke headquarters office, R&D center, and digital design center have all been fully occupied.
Furthermore, the center has been accredited by the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) as the China-Europe Jiading entrepreneurship base. The center will foster industry R&D and offer services for enterprises in the same industry and innovative technology-based China-Europe alumni companies.
The R&D center not only caters to the needs of enterprises in the chemical and environmental protection fields but also actively engages in industry-university-research cooperation. It has already signed cooperation agreements with several colleges and national-level international joint research centers to promote the industrial application of advanced technology.
The use of the headquarters building will mark another new starting point for the company's development. The company aims to leverage its digital design and technology service platform to achieve the digital transformation of projects and promote the high-quality development of the entire industry chain.
The location advantages, policy, and service advantages of North Hongqiao have attracted a group of leading enterprises in the industry.
Situated within the Hongqiao Xinhui Headquarters Bay, the Lanke Hongqiao Center is part of a larger 280-mu (18.66-hectare) development dedicated to R&D.
