Keeway Motor Co, China's top exporter of large-displacement motorcycles, has set up operations in the Minhang area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District.
"The area's prime location, complete industrial chain and supporting policies perfectly meet the demands of the company's development," explained a representative of Keeway Motor.
Keeway Motor mainly focuses on cross-border sales of its motorcycles, and most of its clients are from overseas.
Founded in 1999 in Europe, Keeway Motor has the highest export volume of large-displacement motorcycles in China and a business presence that spans 102 countries around the world.
The representative revealed that the company plans to further tap the Chinese market this year, and that its location in Hongqiao is expected to help aid efforts to do so.
Keeway Motor is one example of an enterprise in the Hongqiao CBD that has reaped the benefits of the local administration's services. Officials said that they regularly visit companies to learn about their needs, as well as provide a range of policy support to help companies grow.
