Xinhong community in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District held a news conference on investment promotion and the business environment on March 30.
During the conference, Xinhong community signed contracts with enterprises including Jiangsu Runergy New Energy Technology Co Ltd, Jilin City Construction and the Shanghai-based ZZER, an e-commerce platform for secondhand goods, to launch six projects in the fields of new energy, service and retail sales, which are expected to generate an estimated tax revenue of nearly 100 million yuan ($14.53 million).
The community also expanded its investment partnership with eight companies and institutions including Wizwork, Noah, DoBe and the Hongqiao Central Business District branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the Hongqiao CBD branch of China Merchants Bank and CYAMLAN Asset Management.
To date, Xinhong community has attracted leading new energy companies such as Runergy, Jinko Solar Co Ltd, Trina Solar, and Sungrow, and has a total market value of more than 400 billion yuan in the sector.
This year, the community has released an array of favorable policies focusing on people's livelihoods, corporate concerns and industrial development to facilitate newly registered enterprises and award those with outstanding economic contributions.
The policies cover five aspects: children's education, healthcare, talent development, characteristic catering, housing and transportation, and cultural exchanges.
Specifically, the community will open a green channel for children of employees from key enterprises to enroll in kindergartens and primary schools. In terms of medical treatment, the Xinhong Health Center provides services such as free consultations and customized physical examination for workers. The family members of workers can also enjoy high-quality elderly care such as trusteeships, meals, rehabilitation and leisure.
The community provides entrepreneurs and talents with services such as entrepreneurial guidance, career development training and legal consulting and invites corporate executives and industrial leaders to offer auxiliary services such as optimized employment plans.
The community plans to further enrich affordable dining choices for corporate employees by issuing catering coupons and offering them suitable housing with more than 20 talent apartments in the area.
