Located in Shanghai Hongqiao Linkong Economic Zone, Sino Wealth Electronics Ltd was spotlighted when it was among the award winners at the 17th "China Chip" Award Ceremony, which was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong province in January.
A high-tech industrial leader specializing in the research and development, as well as the design of integrated circuits and chips used in the management systems of lithium batteries, the company's lithium battery fast-charging gauge stood out among 334 products from 227 companies across the country to be listed as one of the "China Chip" excellent technological innovation products.
Founded in 1994, Sino Wealth has focused on integrated circuit design since 2002. In 2012, it was listed on the Growth Enterprises Market board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. In 2021, the company's operating income reached 1.49 billion yuan ($217.2 million).
Sino Wealth's chips have a wide range of application scenarios covering white appliances, mobile phones, tablets, power tools, automotive electronics, and display screens.
As a key manufacturer of MCU (micro control unit) chips, Sino Wealth has maintained long-term cooperative relations with home appliance customers like Midea, Gree, Supor, and Haier. Its products are used in air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, rice cookers, and induction cookers, with its lithium battery chips used in the products of renowned domestic brands.
Sino Wealth's investment in R&D accounted for 17.7 percent of its operating income in 2021. More than 82 percent of the company's employees are R&D personnel. Employees who have worked for more than three years have the opportunity to become partners of the company.
Honored to be an integrated circuit design enterprise lauded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Sino Wealth has won various honors, such as the Demonstration Pilot Unit for Patents in Shanghai and the Intellectual Property Enterprise in Shanghai. It has obtained 118 invention patents and 98 registration certificates for IC layout.
