Construction of the new commercial center Yunqi recently started in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District.
It is one of the first transformation projects launched by the Shanghai Airport Authority in the eastern area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
The center is close to the airport's Terminal 1 station on Metro Line 10 and boasts convenient transportation options such as air, high-speed railway, expressway and metro lines.
With a floorage of 49,600 square meters, it is designed to be a garden-like high-end office building that is expected to contribute to Hongqiao's headquarters economy.
The Shanghai Airport Authority was founded in 1998 and operates the Shanghai Pudong International Airport and the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. Its businesses cover airport construction, operation and management, supply-chain management and real estate development.
