The New Generation Information Technology (Jinan) Production and Education Integration Training Base in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, is playing an important role in helping train high-skilled talents, local media reported.

The base was founded by ZX-CE Tech Group and Jinan Vocational College in 2020. It has 28 training scenarios, such as single-chip technology, electronic product design and production, sensor technology, as well as integrated circuit testing.

Officials said that the base is expected to train nearly 10,000 talents in the field of next-generation information technology annually, providing talent support for the transformation of old growth drivers to new ones in Jinan and Shandong province.

Wang Xinfu, vice-governor of Shandong, visited the base on May 18 and spoke highly of the teaching results the base has made since being founded.

"5G technology is an important field in new infrastructure and needs a large number of industrial talents. The base will help increase the number of talents in 5G technology in Shandong province," said a senior official of ZX-CE Tech Group, adding that it will also help cultivate high-quality industrial talents for digital economy development.
