The 3rd Graduate Summer School on Frontiers of International Communication Theory and Research Methods Facing South and Southeast Asia was successfully held from August 10 to 18, 2024.
This summer school was organized by the School of Journalism at Yunnan University (or School of International Communication for South and Southeast Asia), the School of Journalism and Communication at Communication University of China, the Journalism and the Sub-committee of Journalism and Communication of the South and Southeast Asia University Network, and the Halliday Centre for Intelligent Applications of Language Studies at City University of Hong Kong. Nearly 60 young teachers and scholars from 40 universities across China participated.
During the nine-day program, 38 well-known experts and scholars from China and abroad gave lectures. They engaged in discussions on cutting-edge theories and practical issues in international communication.
The program provided participants with valuable knowledge and experience through diverse teaching methods, deepening the young teachers' and scholars' understanding of international communication theory and practice. This contributes to advancing China's international communication capabilities, offering more wisdom and strength to promote exchanges and mutual learning among world civilizations.
