Established on April 19, 1921, Hiroshima Aluminum Industry (HAL) is a well-known Japanese precision machinery casting and processing company. Its headquarters are in Hiroshima and it has nine factories in Japan, as well as others in Vietnam, Mexico and Thailand. HAL's main business is the manufacturing of aluminum die-casting parts for automotive components, and it is the largest aluminum die-casting parts supplier for Mazda Motor Corporation.

HAL's main customers include Mazda, Jatco, CFME, AWTJ and AWSZ. Based on their demands, it set up a factory in Nantong. With registered capital of $31 million, the Nantong factory occupies 72,540 square meters in Su-Xi-Tong Science and Technology Park.
