Three tourist attractions in Nantong, Jiangsu province, were recently listed among the top 100 destinations in the Yangtze River Delta for senior residents to spend their lives, local media reported recently.
The Jiangsu Provincial People's Government approved Kaisha Island as a provincial-level tourism resort in 2013. The island features numerous waterways, fertile land, and excellent agricultural and aquatic products. The vast wetlands on the island are natural habitats for many rare bird species, making it an ideal destination for domestic and foreign tourists to visit for vacation and bird-watching.
The white windmills spinning day and night, the unique-shaped water gates, and the sea breeze that comes with the flying seagulls... … Along the winding and beautiful coastline of the southern Yellow Sea, Xiaoyangkou Resort has become a new choice for many urban residents for a short escape.
In Jianghai Lanwan Resort, visitors can travel to the amusement park of Qitang City and immerse themselves in the culture of the prosperous Tang Dynasty (618-907); they can step into the world of ice and snow to experience the "coolness" in autumn; they can also take a low-altitude flight to admire the beautiful coastal scenery or stroll on the seawall to watch the stunning sunrise and listen to the sound of the waves.
