The rural travel route in Nantong, Jiangsu province, along with 84 other routes around the nation, was recently recommended by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The Nantong travel route extends along the 206 kilometers of shoreline of the Yellow Sea. It connects Bencha Ancient Town, Yangkou village, Xiaoyangkou Resort, Lyusi fishing port, Qitang Immersive Park, and Yuantuojiao Resort.
Travelers traversing this route will have the opportunity to indulge in a rejuvenating hot spring bath, partake in the collection of clams, mud snails, and sea cucumbers, and savor the unique and delightful drunken seafood.
Bencha Ancient Town is a national characteristic town and a leading historical and cultural town in China, with a profound history, distinctive folk culture, and a wealth of gourmet restaurants and food outlets.

Xiaoyangkou Resort is the first provincial-level resort in Nantong and features a scenic coastal landscape and hot springs. With a large expanse of lush greenery, it is also an ideal place to escape the summer heat.
Lyusi fishing port is one of the four largest in China and produces over 2,000 varieties of seafood.
The Qitang Immersive Park showcases the culture of the Tang Dynasty (618-907) in all aspects and includes more than 1,000 varieties of props and costumes to help visitors experience the dynasty's prosperity.
Yuantuojiao Resort houses two classic scenic attractions, Golden Beach and Bihai Yinsha. Within the Bihai Yinsha scenic area, a dam acts as a barrier between the Yellow Sea and an artificial blue bay, resulting in a distinctive and captivating seascape.
