The Hai'an-ASEAN express has boosted the imports and exports of enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta Region, making Hai'an an important railway freight hub in recent years. 

In the Jan-Oct period this year, a total of 22 trains with 1,224 wagons operated on this route. 

The Hai'an-ASEAN express is the only express to ASEAN countries in East China. It benefits foreign trade enterprises in the region by saving time and costs in transporting goods compared to maritime transport. 

As of the end of Oct, the value of the goods transported from Hai'an to Ha Noi in Vietnam had reached $ 150 million. 

To strengthen the regional railway freight hub, the Hai'an Commercial Logistics Industrial Park and China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group jointly built the Hai'an railway logistics base.

Four railway freight lines have been established in the park, with a total length of 2,134 meters.

To improve the express's clearance efficiency, Nantong customs authorities have set up green channels for it and implemented paperless procedures.
