The first bookkeeping agency license in Lin-gang Special Area was approved by the area's administration on Nov 11, just one day after application.

Shanghai Fengdi Financial Consulting Co Ltd submitted its application materials to the Lin-gang Special Area Administrative Service Center on Nov 10, and the Lin-gang Special Area Administration reviewed the legitimacy of the enterprise, the qualifications of its full-time practitioners, and its internal bookkeeping standards.

"It was a surprise to receive the bookkeeping license so quickly," said Miss Ren, a representative of Shanghai Fengdi Financial Consulting Co Ltd, adding that such efficiency was a boon to Lin-gang Special Area's business environment.

This is the first time the Lin-gang Special Area Administration has offered bookkeeping agency licenses, which involve evaluating intermediary agencies engaged in bookkeeping, since the second group of 653 administrative powers at the municipal and district levels in Shanghai were granted to Lin-gang on Nov 1.

The Lin-gang Special Area Administration is now responsible for evaluating and issuing agency bookkeeping licenses for intermediary organs registered in the Lin-gang Special Area Administration for Market Regulation.
