The 2020 Shanghai Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition kicked off in Shanghai on Sept 28, local media reported.

The contest is aimed at building platforms for young innovators and entrepreneurs to display their achievements, learn about and exchange resources, and incubate projects.

The contest will last for three months, and participants will compete in two categories.

The first category will divide participants into groups based on how long their company has been registered.

In the second category, participants will compete in six different sectors - artificial intelligence, medicine and general health, intelligent manufacturing, smart city solutions, cultural innovation and new consumer products, and the online economy.
