The second Shanghai "Xinte Cup" digital innovation design competition and the 2020 Pudong New Area scientific technology art tour kicked off at Shanghai Ocean University (SHOU) on Sept 20.

The "Xinte Cup" online service platform was officially launched on Aug 20, 2020, while an online science platform and knowledge contest answering platform were also established, and the Shanghai "Xinte Cup" digital innovation design competition and scientific innovation practice base were set up.

As of Sept 19, 126 projects have been submitted by 30 universities in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces and Shanghai, with nearly 1,000 participants.

The deadline for submissions to the preliminary contest is Oct 30, and the finalists will be announced on Nov 10. The final contest is scheduled for Nov 29 and 30.
