A manufacturing standard on new zero-carbon emissions factories – and evaluation standards based on blockchain – was recently released.
A company based in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone in Xinghua city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – participated in preparations for the standard.
Xinghua-based Jiangsu Baoxiang Intelligent Technology Co Ltd – along with over 10 enterprises including Mengniu Dairy Group and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group – joined in the formation of the standard, which was released in September by the China Association for Standardization.
The initiative aims to standardize the creation and management process of zero-carbon factories and augment the evaluation standards of zero-carbon factories using blockchain technology.
It can help solve problems of carbon data traceability, missing carbon data and carbon data risks in the evaluation process of zero-carbon factories.
It also aims to improve carbon data supervision and certification and achieve the joint promotion of China's dual carbon goals – of peak carbon emissions before 2030 and becoming carbon neutral before 2060 – by multiple parties.
Focusing on industrial automation applications, Baoxiang Intelligent Technology reportedly has a high market share and is popular in the areas of e-commerce intelligent sorting, intelligent warehousing and other fields of endeavor.
To date, it has obtained over 20 invention patents related to intelligent warehousing and sorting – and has led the formulation of multiple intelligent applications equipment technology standards.
