The Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in Taixing city – administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – is striving to build a provincial-level water-saving industrial park in its core area.
The construction passed a preliminary assessment at the municipal level, released following a review held on Oct 21 that was organized by the city's bureau of water resources.
The examination looked at indexes covering efficiency, a raft of measures and the management of water.
In recent years, the zone has been actively promoting the construction of a provincial-level water-saving industrial park, serving national water-saving actions.
It's believed that the efficient utilization of water resources can boost the high-quality economic and social development of the zone.
Looking ahead, the area will continue with the development work, preparing the way for a subsequent provincial-level review.
