China International Children's Film Festival opens in Huzhou

The 18th China International Children's Film Festival (Zhejiang) kicked off on Oct 23 in Lucun village, located in Wuxing district, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province. This marks the festival's Zhejiang debut.

The festival features a variety of activities, including screenings of outstanding Chinese and international films, a VR film creation seminar, and a futuristic film technology VR experience exhibition, offering a cinematic carnival for children.

The opening ceremony showcased over 20 exceptional children's films from countries such as Germany and Spain, spanning genres like animation, documentary, and feature films.

Several annual honors were awarded at the event, with the domestic animated film Nobody receiving the honor of Special Recommendation for Chinese Animation.

Additionally, a unique cinema co-established by the China Film Archive and Wuxing district, was inaugurated in Lucun village, enhancing the region's cultural offerings.
