The Dubai and Anhui Province Trade and Investment Exchange Conference was held on Jan 19 in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone – located in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province.

The event invited nearly 100 enterprises that are interested in investing in the United Arab Emirates.

Representatives from Dubai institutions and enterprises – such as the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the Dubai International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) and Binghatti company – gave presentations on the business environment in Dubai in terms of its urban environment, tax policy and infrastructure.

This provided guidance for enterprises to develop in Dubai and further boosted their confidence in going global.

To ensure that the Hefei high-tech zone continues to improve its level of internationalization, the zone has undertaken a number of measures to deepen its foreign exchanges and cooperation.

This includes strengthening its overseas project incubations, attracting projects, increasing the frequency of outbound visits and strengthening exchanges and cooperation.

The Hefei high-tech zone's opening-up level is said to have been continuously improving and the outward orientation of its enterprises has also been rising.
