Hefei high-tech zone company has strong Kazakhstan presence
Solar energy technology company Sungrow Power Supply Co – based in the Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – received Kazakhstan's First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar and his delegation on Dec 16.
Sungrow, which provides a wide range of solutions and services in clean power globally, has a strong presence in Kazakhstan.
The company's commissioned projects in the country – such as the 100 megawatt Borey wind power plant and 50 mW EnergoTrust wind power plant – have a total capacity of 271 mW.

In November, Sungrow won a bid for a 200 mW large-scale wind power project in a tender organized by Kazakhstan's Energy Ministry.
Currently, Sungrow has nearly 500 mW of wind power capacity either commissioned or under construction in Kazakhstan, leading energy enterprises in the country.
During the visit, the delegation learned about the company's global business operations. Zhang Xucheng, chairman of Sungrow briefed First Deputy Prime Minister Sklyar on the company's business and technological developments, as well as its future development plans.

Zhang said that Sungrow would focus on the development of renewable energy and accelerate its global expansion. He also emphasized the company's commitment to deepening cooperation and exchanges with Kazakhstan and its desire to contribute more solutions in efficient and eco-friendly renewable energy projects in the country.
The First China-Kazakhstan Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum was held in the Kazakhstan capital city of Astana on Dec 14, providing greater development opportunities for bilateral cooperation in energy, infrastructure and technological innovation.
