Hefei high-tech zone honored for promoting employment
The Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei – capital of East China's Anhui province – was recently honored as one of the best examples of employment promotions high-tech zones.
That was attributed to its continued efforts to optimize its talent policies, as well as its great achievements in recruitment and in promoting stable jobs.

The honor was announced at a ceremony for the annual Best Employer Award, which was held on Dec 15 in Chengdu city, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province.
In recent years, the high-tech zone has focused on deepening its integration of industry and talent, while being instrumental in creating landmark industrial platforms.
In particular, over the past three years nearly 100 top scientists have come to the zone to start up businesses and nearly 1,000 top-flight personnel have been employed there.
All in all, it's been estimated that the annual net inflow of various talent has been close to 50,000 people.
Since the start of the year, the total number of newly employed people in the whole high-tech zone has reached 58,000, with a total of more than 65 million yuan ($9.1 million) in employment subsidies being paid.
In 2023, a total of 93 on-campus jobs fairs were organized, covering 67 universities and research institutions, with 110,000 resumes received.
Of these, more than 60 percent of the resumes collected at the jobs fairs were from master's degree or doctorate degree holders, with over 25,000 job-seekers indicating they intended to move to the zone.
