Hefei high-tech zone actively participates in BRI
Businesses that are resident in the Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone – located in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – are increasingly becoming involved in international commerce, projects and investment under the Belt and Road Initiative.
As a result, they're said to be contributing a significant amount to the high-quality development of the BRI.
One of them is iFlytek – a provider of artificial intelligence solutions for speech, languages, offices, education and services – that is focused on a vision of "building a better world with artificial intelligence".
With a focus on language interconnectivity, iFLYTEK utilizes intelligent voice and artificial intelligence technology to develop core technologies – such as multi-language voice recognition, voice synthesis, image-text recognition and machine translations.
This enables automatic translation between Chinese and other languages in various input modes – such as voice, text and images – promoting smooth communications and exchanges among people from different regions and ethnicities.
Moving forwards, plans are for the company to continue to deepen its research and development of artificial intelligence technology, accelerate the application of technological achievements and recount the story of China's technological innovation.
Under the BRI, Sungrow Power Supply Co in the high-tech zone has established several wind power farms in Kazakhstan. Cooperation in the field of new energy between China and Kazakhstan has become a vivid reflection of economic cooperation between the two countries, within the framework of the BRI.
