Hefei high-tech zone to add aerospace sci-tech park
The Hefei National High-Tech Industry Zone – located in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – will build an aerospace computing power science and technology park.
Covering an area of about 30 mu (2 hectares), the sci-tech park is expected to bring together upstream and downstream enterprises and to become a leading domestic aerospace information technology facility in the country.
That's according to a strategic cooperation agreement signed on Oct 14 at the opening ceremony of the 35th China Simulation Conference, which was held in Hefei city from Oct 13 to 15.
The China Simulation Conference, held annually since 1989, is the largest and most influential academic conference in China's simulation field.
During the event, Hefei high-tech zone company Geovis brought two independently developed products to the proceedings: the Observer Space Information Analysis Platform and the Space Asset Management Platform.

These products are designed to provide professional information computing and analysis for space missions, from designs and launches to operations and evaluations.
"The simulation conference in Hefei provides a platform for companies to showcase and exchange ideas," said a representative from the company.
