It recently launched an autumn campaign to recruit university graduates in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, involving 1,070 positions being offered by 18 Hefei high-tech zone companies.
"Every year, we participate in the campus recruitment activities organized by the zone," said a manager called Liu, who works at the Institute of Advanced Technology, at the University of Science and Technology of China.
"Our institute has high academic and professional standards and the campus recruitment is more effective," Liu said.
Liu added that in the recent Xi'an jobs fair, over 90 percent of the resumes had graduate degrees or higher and the level of alignment between resumes and job requirements had improved compared with the previous two years.

Moving forwards, plans are for the development zone to hold about 30 jobs fairs in cities such as Chengdu, Wuhan, Nanjing and Zhengzhou, as well as cities in Anhui, to further bolster its pool of talent.
