A delegation from the city of Hefei – capital of East China's Anhui province – visited Germany, Italy and France and held discussions with 23 enterprises and institutions about more than 40 projects.
In Germany, business opportunities were explored with Volkswagen Group, Continental Group, Bosch Group, Porsche Management Consulting and Manhope Management Consulting Co Ltd.

In Italy, partnerships were discussed with Dinorra Industries, Marelli Group, super luxury car producer Lamborghini, the local branch of tech giant Huawei and Hetong Capital.

In France, collaboration in innovative technologies and resources was discussed with Alstom Group, Veolia Group and others.

Indeed, Hefei high-tech zone signed an accord with the Veolia Group, as well as other agreements with companies in the metal machining and printing industries. Several companies committed to visiting Hefei to explore opportunities.

Since this year, the high-tech zone has been improving its business environment, attracting investment and participating in international ventures.

Moving forwards, plans are for the zone to continue to create a market-oriented environment, expand its openness, solidify its regional innovation system and integrate into the Yangtze River Delta region.
