Beijing Anzhen Hospital, affiliated to Capital Medical University, is a tertiary general hospital focusing on the treatment of cardiovascular and pulmonary vascular diseases.
On completion, the new hospital is projected to achieve homogeneous development with Beijing Anzhen Hospital and create a modern and high-level national regional medical center, bringing quality medical services and reducing cross-provincial and boosting cross-regional medical treatment.
The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone is said to have made great efforts to develop a comprehensive and high-quality medical service system.
This includes the establishment of several high-end medical institutions – such as the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University's branch – in addition to 104 other medical and health institutions.
The zone has also developed a 15-minute healthcare service network, with five community health service centers as key spots, providing accessible healthcare services within a 15-minute walk.
