The ongoing second Quantum Science and Technology Festival, as well as Quantum Science Week, kicked off on May 18 in the Anhui Science and Technology Museum – located in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province.

The event, which runs to May 28, aims to promote the role of quantum information technology in powering industrial upgrading and development.

The festival was organized by institutions and enterprises including the museum and CIQTEK, a manufacturer and supplier of quantum precision measurement products, based in the Hefei high-tech zone.

Relying on the authoritative resources of the Anhui Science and Technology Museum and the science education team at CIQTEK, Quantum Science Week is featuring three themed activities – a Quantum Science Theme Exhibition, a Quantum Science Classroom and a Science Show.

Adding to the excitement, the Quantum Precision Measurement Industry Empowerment White Paper was released on May 19 by a number of parties, including the Anhui Quantum Precision Measurement Manufacturing Innovation Center at CIQTEK.

It's based on practical cases from user perspectives and focuses on solutions provided by quantum precision measurement technology in such fields as new energy, semiconductors and aerospace.
