Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, or Hefei high-tech zone – located in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province – displayed its achievements in service trade and service outsourcing at the 12th China Sourcing Summit, which was held in Wuhan city on March 21-23.

Hefei high-tech zone has been striving to become a demonstration zone for service outsourcing in recent years.

Last year, the amount of service outsourcing in the zone totaled $2.88 billion, of which the offshore amount was $657 million, accounting for 51 percent and 48 percent of the city's total, respectively.

Moreover, the growth rate of service outsourcing and international service outsourcing turnover has now exceeded 20 percent for three consecutive years.

In Hefei high-tech zone, the service outsourcing industry has provided positions for 55,800 people with undergraduate degrees or above. These now account for 58.36 percent of all employees in the zone.

In addition, Hefei high-tech zone has promoted the high-quality development of the service outsourcing industry through innovative support policies, management and talent.
