Located in Hefei, the provincial capital of East China's Anhui, Hefei high-tech zone has been working to attract graduates from universities nationwide to help resident enterprises and promote its high-quality development.
It launched a spring campaign to recruit university graduates in Feb 18 in Wuhan, the capital of Central China's Hubei.
In the following month, the development zone held job fairs in nine cities, involving 26 key universities and 1,262 enterprises. Almost 10,000 university students secured job offers as a result.
As one of China's most influential high-tech zones, it has attracted a large number of high-tech enterprises and research institutions, including Hefei National Quantum Laboratory, the Institute of Artificial Intelligence of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, and the Jianghuai Frontier Technology Coordination and Innovation Center.
Some innovation-driven high-tech companies, new types of research and development institutes, and company-based innovation platforms have also emerged in the development zone in recent years.
As there is an urgent need to introduce a large number of professionals with master's or doctor's degrees, the zone has organized job fairs in various forms to provide professional recruitment services to resident enterprises.
Moving forwards, plans are in motion for the development zone to hold more job fairs in Henan and Zhejiang provinces to further bolster its pool of talent.
