Covering an area of 530 mu (35.33 hectares), the Hefei Future Science and Technology Industrial Park will be established inside the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone – located in Hefei, the provincial capital of East China's Anhui – in the wake of a signing ceremony held on Feb 16.

The Hefei Future Science and Technology Industrial Park is expected to introduce and attract a batch of influential enterprises, promote the commercialization of more scientific and technological achievements, and comprehensively meet the innovation and entrepreneurial needs of scientists and entrepreneurs to a high standard.

The park will also build modern, high-quality workshops to create an industrial carrier system that integrates the incubation of innovative endeavors, R&D, testing and commercialization. 

What's more, it will continue to improve the standard of public services and green energy facilities to create a high-quality industrial environment.

Plans are afoot for the zone's administrative committee and Hefei Industry Investment Group to accelerate the construction of the project and build it into a benchmark in the field of scientific and technological innovation and industrial clustering in Hefei.
